I am jealous of boys with a lot of male friends!
I've always been fascinated by all those "all-guy-groups"(6-7 guys at least) that one may spot in an institution, a restaurant or even on the street doing silly things, guzzling beer, checking out chicks in a "subtle" way, or simply having a "serious" discussion on soccer!! Not that I'm a trans-gender or fantasize guys (in the "group" way!), but just that the vibe exuded by a male group is so different from that exuded by your usual all girls group à la Sex and the city. By different I mean clear, uncomplicated, casual, funny(it helps if the group has one or two really slapstick funny guys) and less bitchy(which sometimes=BORING!);in a nutshell a chilled out vibe. Whereas when girls get together they are all bitchy and even conscious(of each other!). On the surface it'll appear to be a normal conversation as in they'll go on talking animatedly about the dress they "so" liked at Sisley or that new uber hot instructor in the gym etc etc. But if you are a pro and know how to decode it, their TONE gives them away...the tone is..hmm...is... mean...or derogatory...or plain bimb even! And I'm am not talking about a mere strata of the girl species, this happens in "Franz Kafka-reading-osho-chappals-wearing-jhola girl groups" as much as in our "Eastman color-red nails-jimmy-choo-wearing-golden-LV bag galz groupz" and more than ever in the hybrid groups. Hybrid is fun! one hell of a serendipitous social experiment..
But the guy groups...ahhh... what a cool breeze it must to hang out in a guys group! No, not as girl, because then they are all flirty and competitive and weird. Some act phony in order to impress(in vain o'course), others go in a silent mode and the remaining make complete fools of themselves by saying/doing a volley of unforgivable silly nothings.
Hanging out as one of the guys. What goes on in the hostel dorms...on bikes, in the middle of nowhere at 3 in the night...what happens in a sports bar sans girls...the chilled out yet boring ambiance is what I envy... No issues! No b$#**iness!
